An IBAN, or International Bank Account Number, and BIC, or Bank Identifier Code, are part of the European standard that has been adopted as part of SEPA. In order to begin paying your local bills online, you will need to enroll in Online Banking and be aware of the IBAN and BIC for both yourself and the companies that you regularly pay.

What is an IBAN and BIC?

Your IBAN number is unique to each of your accounts, and may be found by clicking on the Show IBAN link next to your account on the main Online Banking page, to reveal the 22-digit number. You may also obtain the IBAN number from your local Community Bank associate, in person or by phone. Your IBAN does not replace your existing Community Bank account number and will only be used for electronic transactions with other businesses or individuals. Each IBAN number uniquely identifies an account, and should be protected as you do your account number.
